Resorts ready to tee off

The Clearwater Resort Golf Course, designed in consultation with Sir Bob Charles, opens to the public in mid-March after the US PGA Buy.Com Tour.

The 18-hole course is close to the Christchurch International Airport and a 15-minute drive from the central city.

As part of a new residential parkland-style estate, the course is surrounded by natural streams and spring-fed lakes.

The Terrace Downs High Country Resort offers another set of new greens for golfers.

The course has opened, a 50-minute drive from Christchurch at Darfield in the Rakaia Gorge. Visitors can holiday, address their health or play golf in a pristine alpine environment.
