Next year is the centenary of the death of Queen Victoria, great-great-grandmother of the present Queen.
For the first time, visitors will be able to enter the servants' quarters and a half-hectare walled garden created by Victoria and Prince Albert at Osborne House on the Isle of Wight, the holiday home where Queen Victoria died.
A special centenary exhibition will also be held in London's Kensington Palace where Queen Victoria was born in 1819. The focal point of the exhibition will be her dresses, from childhood to her last years.
