Qantas deals trump card for Oz travel

There's nothing like an MOU for convenient fast-tracking through Customs when you are travelling in and out of Australia.

This travellers' trump card stands for memorandum of understanding, an agreement between Qantas, the Australian Department of Immigration and Multicultural Affairs, and the Australian Customs Service.

Passengers travelling with Qantas can use dedicated express lanes at Australia's international airports, making the usual processing much quicker.

Qantas executive general manager of airports John Anderson said it is the airline's policy to provide seamless travel.

The express lanes will also help process the large numbers of travellers expected during the Olympics.
