Purposeful planting on Motuora

For a great family day out with a purpose, consider joining the Motuora Restoration Society on a planting trip to beautiful Motuora Island. The next one is on June 25 and the boat departs from Sandspit at 8am. It costs $16 (adults), $8 (children 5-12); under 5s are free. Parking is $5 for those involved in planting. A sausage sizzle lunch is provided and you should pack drinks, snacks, gumboots or boots, a raincoat and plenty of enthusiasm. Bookings are essential.
