Puppets on parade in Whangarei

Giant puppets, marchers, dancers and other entertainers will party in the streets of Whangarei during the annual Parade of Giant Puppets on Saturday.

The parade starts at 1pm in the centre of town, and the theme is the environment.

It's part of the city's Endless Summer Festival, which runs throughout March.
