More than three hectares of water-lily-clad private land is available for picnicking, strolling and relaxing, just south of Auckland.
Wrights Watergardens feature 30 water lily and lotus ponds, a waterfall, a licensed cafe and a plant nursery. Cut flowers are available from December.
From October to May, the gardens open daily from 10 am. Entry fees are $5 for adults, $3 children and preschoolers, free.
