Shy guys dining at the new Sofitel in Queenstown might be surprised at the queues for the quirky loo.

Dubbed the "Mona Lisa of Loo Art", the loo features life-size photographs of interested females directly behind each of the six stands - and their eyes seem to follow the action.

In keeping with the light-hearted theme, one has a tape measure out, one has a pair of binoculars, another has a camera, a fourth is peering over her glasses, and so on.

Ladies loos are safe for now.
