Patumahoe's watery wonderland

Wrights Watergardens at 128 Mauku Rd, Patumahoe, is a peaceful place to relax over lunch before taking a stroll in the superb surroundings. The watergardens are in an old rock quarry that surrounds the Mauku Waterfall. There's a craft shop, a nursery and the licensed Waterfall Cafe. Winter cafe hours are 11am-3pm daily; shop and gardens 10am to 4.30pm.
