Video has captured a man boasting about how much his parents are worth and being restrained into his seat with tape before he was charged with assaulting cabin crew on a recent flight.
Ohio man Maxwell Berry, 22, is facing three counts of battery after Saturday's incident on a Frontier Airlines flight from Philadelphia to Miami.
Police will allege Berry inappropriately touched two female flight attendants and physically assaulted a male attendant, which led to him to being restrained in his seat for the remainder of the flight.
News outlet ABC6 reports during the flight, Berry brushed an empty cup against the backside of a flight attendant, to which she reportedly said: "Don't touch me."
Later, he emerged from the bathroom shirtless after spilling a drink on himself.
He is then accused of groping the chest of a female flight attendant as staff helped him get a fresh shirt from his luggage.
Video taken by another passenger shows Berry then yelling at other people on board in an expletive-filled rant.
"You guys f***ing suck. My parents are worth more than two million dollars," he said.
"My grandpa is worth more than your f***ing life."
The video then shows Berry attempting to strike a crew member while other crew rush to restrain him.
Passengers can then be heard laughing as Berry is restrained to his seat with tape for the rest of the flight.
"He was starting to get aggressive and basically attacked the male flight attendant," passenger Alfredo Rivera told ABC6.
Frontier Airlines confirmed the incident in a statement to media.
"During a flight from Philadelphia to Miami on July 31, a passenger made inappropriate physical contact with a flight attendant and subsequently physically assaulted another flight attendant," the statement said.
"As a result, the passenger needed to be restrained until the flight landed in Miami and law enforcement arrived."
The airline also said it was "supporting the needs of these team members and are working with law enforcement to fully support the prosecution of the passenger involved".
