Parents share tips on how to entertain kids in Auckland

A group of Auckland parents has spent months scouring the city and its surrounds to find the best places to entertain children.

The result is a website providing hundreds of ideas on places to go and things to do for babies through to 12-year-olds.

It is also a resource for families visiting Auckland, listing special events, indoor and outdoor places to visit and where to find child-friendly restaurants. The site also has a guide to the best shopping, with children in mind.

The aim of Kidsauckland.com is to eventually launch the site throughout New Zealand, with the next phase concentrating on other major New Zealand cities.
