Paddle your own canoe between Puhoi and Wenderholm

When a little gentle canoeing - no waves, no waterfalls, and no turbulence - sounds like a perfect outing, take to Wenderholm Regional Park.

Puhoi River Canoe Hire has single, double and multi-seat canoes to get you along the 8km from Puhoi to Wenderholm.

This is a soft-adventure trip, perfect for family outings, though not recommended for children under 5. The full river adventure takes approximately two hours, but is at the mercy of the tides, so a call to Puhoi River Canoe Hire first is advisable.

You can hire the canoes for an hour's paddle on the Puhoi River from $15 (single canoe) to $25 (double). The full river adventure is $30 for a single canoe and $60 for a double. Credit cards are not accepted.
