Guided walks to discover the geological and archaeological history of One Tree Hill, including its Maori pa site, will be held over the next two months.
Geologist Les Kermode guides a two-hour walk of One Tree Hill's volcano on Wednesday, January 30.
A three-hour walk with archaeologist Sue Bulmer, looking at the pa site, is on Wednesday, February 13. The walks are free, but bookings are essential.
