The Pushkar Camel Fair in north-western India is mayhem worth arranging an Indian holiday around.
It is made even more memorable by the annual trek of pilgrims and saddhus who converge to pay homage at the country's only Brahma temple.
Normally serene, Pushkar becomes a camping ground for camel traders from all over Rajasthan every November, who bring their animals to race and to trade with one another over five days.
