Ohmpah at Orewa

German beer is the only beer available at the second annual - and authentic - Oktoberfest in Orewa this weekend.

With a 650-seat marquee alongside the beachfront surf club, Oktoberfest Orewa Beach is prepared to entertain thousands of visitors over the three days and nights.

Big steins, three German beers and food that includes 12 varieties of German sausage will be served by staff dressed in traditional Bavarian costumes.

Entertainment includes a three-day beach volleyball competition, clowns and the Ziggy Zaggy Ohmpah Band.
