Following our mention in last week's magazine about the four-legged pals at Hong Kong Airport that help look after security, it's been brought to our attention there are some furry detectives - who have their own cards - a little closer to home.
The Aviation Security Service New Zealand (Avsec NZ) dogs have noses so powerful they can smell a bone over a kilometre away and it's these sniffy superpowers that help them to search bags and cargo, keeping our planes and airports safe. Take a squiz at the handsome hounds on the "Meet the Detectives" section of the Avsec website (avsec.govt.nz).
Each dog card reveals the breed, birthday and hobbies of the clever pup, as well as super cute action shots. Great work team, and thanks to Jess Jennings at Avsec NZ for the heads up.
