New Zealand had a total satisfaction score of 95.11 per cent.
Auckland International Airport also received a mention in the magazine's annual travel awards, being named sixth-favourite airport in the world.
Readers were asked to vote on cleanliness, design, layout and lounges, pre- and post-flight facilities, shopping, food, restaurants, flight information and clarity of signs.
Auckland Airport chief executive Simon Moutter said: "Auckland Airport is working hard to represent our country, be uniquely kiwi, outstanding and welcoming in all that we do...
"This award also acknowledges the contribution of many other organisations that play a role in running the airport - airlines, ground handlers, border agencies, shops, restaurants and cafes," said Moutter.
New Zealand was also listed third overall in the Top 100 section of the awards which included cities, airports, hotels, cruise lines and other sectors within the tourism industry.
