In the coming months Norfolk Island will host a range of events - some serious and some pure fun.
To help holidaymakers get there, travel agencies throughout New Zealand are offering specially priced tours with a validity period that includes the next school holidays (September 22-October 7) and
Father's Day (September 2).
Among the travel packages are 3-night short breaks starting at $649 per person twin share. Seven-night packages start at $769, while a week of being pampered at the new luxury Governor's Lodge costs $1,199 per person.
The packages include flights on Air New Zealand, accommodation in a range of motel and lodge properties, a half-day sightseeing trip around the island and transfers.
Travel must be booked and paid for by August 6 and completed by November 30.
