A new Fijian resort, the $50 million Outrigger Reef Fiji, aims to woo holiday-makers from New Zealand and Australia.
Despite the recent political turmoil, the hotel's general manager Ted Hardie is buoyant about prospects for the 254-room complex.
The hotel is an hour's drive from Nadi, and is set among 17ha of tropical gardens.
