New Brisbane airport express train

Airtrain Express hit the tracks last month as a new, fast, frequent and reliable train service to and from Brisbane airport.

The service also offers Airtrain Connect, which includes coach transfers between the stations and accommodation. A ride from the airport to Brisbane city takes about 22 minutes, at a cost of $A9 ($11.20) or half that for children. For less than $A20 ($25) holidaymakers can reach their destinations along the Gold Coast in about an hour and a half.
