These days I'm all about relaxation, so either sipping a cocktail by the pool, sunbathing on the beach, or feasting on seafood.
If we could teleport you to one place in New Zealand for a week-long holiday, where would it be?
Queenstown. I love the resort-feel of the place, it's great in any season, and it's a real escape; it doesn't actually feel like you're in New Zealand. It has great places to eat but, more importantly, lots of adventure.
How about for a dream holiday internationally?
Mexico. I've been wanting to experience it for a long time ... the beaches look incredible.
What's the dumbest thing you've ever done when travelling?
I regularly get excited by duty-free, and always buy things I don't really need.
Aisle seat or window seat?
I'm all about the aisle. I get claustrophobic so I like to feel free, not squashed in by the window!
Complete this sentence: I can't travel without ...
... a decent plan on what we're doing.
What's the best travel tip you've ever been given?
Do whatever it takes to sleep on the plane, so you're refreshed on arrival.
What was the most memorable meal you've had while travelling?
Ruth's Chris Steak House in Hawaii. It might have been the mai tais we'd had on a sunset cruise an hour earlier, but the steak and oysters afterwards were incredible. We also had some of the best service I've ever had from a waiter called Brandon.
What's the best thing you've brought back from a trip?
A leather jacket from Florence.
Favourite airport to land at?
Fiji ... the heat instantly hits you and that means the holiday has begun.
What's the next trip you've got planned?
Disneyland. People have told me I'm mad taking two kids under 5, but I really want our daughters to experience the magic when they're still into princesses and the characters, I hope it will be magical for them.
