My holidays: Toni Potter

Toni Potter loves landing at Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris.

What was your greatest holiday?

Last year on honeymoon in Europe with my husband. Began in Paris, stayed at The Savoy in London, went to Glastonbury then Greece and Italy. Halfway through my mum joined us. It was marvellous.

And the worst?

No holiday is all bad. You're on holiday after all!

If we bump into you on holiday, what are you most likely to be doing?

The best holidays include good company, exciting things to see, art galleries and tiny museums, great music, dogs, good food and wine, good books and swims, interesting people, long walks, adventures, great sunsets and squirrels.

What's your dream destination?

Too many to choose! The next big one will be North America, or Laos, or Vietnam, or Barrier, or maybe back to Spain. We definitely want to go to Glasto again, and do more of France. Then there is Mexico, Cuba, or Samoa ... we need to win the Lotto.

What's the dumbest thing you've ever done when travelling?

Worried about how I look in my swimmers.

What will you always have in your hand luggage?

Book, compression socks and probiotics.

... a passport.

What's the best thing you've brought back from a trip?

Good photos, stories, art, a great dress and inspiration.

Favourite airport to land at?

Charles de Gaulle, because you are in Paris!

What's the next trip you've got planned?

I think we are going to Noosa to see family. Tips welcome!
