What was your greatest holiday?
Kefalonia, Greece 2016 was pretty spectacular as it was quality time with my family at the end of a five-week tour, staying in a very Greek house surrounded by ruins and lemon trees and mountain goats. We swam into caves in the Aegean, drank lots of local wine, ate our way through the day - things like fava, imam bayildi and horta - while soaking in the spectacular landscape.
And the worst?
A cheap family holiday with my parents to Gran Canaria when I was little. I was distraught to have to leave my grandmother and my dog over Christmas. We were surrounded by "Brits abroad" and I didn't taste any culture. I sulked every day.
If we bump into you on holiday, what are you most likely to be doing?
I'd be talking to someone who can teach me the basic language of "hello" and "thanks", as it's important to respect the language and culture wherever you are. I think coming from a country that speaks a minority language, it is instinctive to want to try to show you care and acknowledge other languages. I also don't stop eating and drinking.
If we could teleport you to one place in New Zealand for a week-long holiday, where would it be?
I haven't been there, but I've heard it can look similar to Wales in places
How about for a dream holiday internationally?
I would love to go to Cuba, but I should have gone years ago ... I've always wanted to go to Cuba.
