If we bump in to you on holiday, what are you most likely to be doing?

What's the dumbest thing you've ever done when travelling?
I forgot to put the petrol cap back on when we were travelling through the Mojave Desert. It rolled off the roof of our Honda Civic when we went round the first corner after the petrol station. Complete this sentence: I can't travel without ... my iPhone and Kindle. It might sound cliche but my phone is my connection to the world and the archive of all important notes and photos. You also need some good books when you travel.
What's the best travel tip you've ever been given?

What was the most memorable meal you've had while travelling? It was memorable but not in a good way. What's the best thing you've brought back from a trip? A little tattoo I had done when I was in Brazil. It means "luz" or "light" and every time I look at it, it reminds me of my life-changing trip to South America.
Favourite airport to land at? Queenstown. There is something magical about travelling to Queenstown. I took my first solo flight there to visit my adorable grandmother when I was 5 and I am still filled with that sense of excitement and wonder when I land on that tarmac.
