Travel Tips
Want to make the most out of your Kiwi roadie? Car hire company Go Rentals has a new tool on its website to help people plan trips around New Zealand, featuring recommendations and itineraries contributed from domestic and international travellers. Company spokesperson Paul Thornton says its aim is to provide "an eclectic experience, with heaps of hidden gems and off-the-beaten-track places to visit and things to do". The site currently has 84 itineraries ranging from three to 28 days from its four main locations (Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Queenstown) which the company will grow and refine as the community gets on board. Useful features include driving times and distances between destinations and highlighted activities, from bungy-jumping off the Sky Tower to Stonehenge Aotearoa, just out of Wellington.
