What was your greatest holiday?

Port Douglas!

If we bump into you on holiday, what are you most likely to be doing?
Depends on where it is — usually some sort of activity. And I most certainly will be caught eating.
If we could teleport you to one place in NZ for a week-long holiday, where would it be?
Queenstown.
How about for a dream holiday internationally?
This is more intergalactic than international, but the trip I would most like to take is to go into orbit and back.
What's the dumbest thing you've ever done when travelling?
I forgot to take my passport with me to the airport. I missed my flight and ended up having to stay on a few more days so it wasn't a total disaster.
What's the best travel tip you've ever been given?
Don't drink the water in Mexico.
What was the most memorable meal you've had while travelling?
It was at this very exclusive restaurant in Mexico City. The place had been booked out for a group of politicians and it had the biggest, heaviest security I've ever seen in my life. Somehow though, they gave us a table and it was honestly the best food I've ever had. However, I was worried the whole time that the place might blow up!
What's the best thing you've brought back from a trip?
A 6000-year old pottery artefact from Iran.
Favourite airport to land at?
Auckland — it's always good to be home.
What's the next trip you've got planned?
I am going to the Melbourne Cup next month.
If David Beckham can drop $2000 on a Burberry hoodie, so can you... (dream to)
