I'm really good at losing really important things at really inconvenient times. I lost my passport in Berlin last year.

What's the best travel tip you've ever been given?
Be smart, do your research, be respectful and remember that you are just as important as the next person and the next person is just as important as you.
What was the most memorable meal you've had while travelling?
The fine dinning waterfront restaurant, 1881 in Noumea, New Caledonia is one of the most decadent and other worldly culinary experiences I have had to date.
What's the best thing you've brought back from a trip?
I am a collector/hoarder of many things and hunting through the market places throughout Europe is a must. One of my favourite purchases while overseas has to be my burnt-orange, space-aged Cartel coffee grinder.
Favourite airport to land at?
I love to land at Coffs Harbour Airport because it means I'm super close to home and because it is one of the most laid back airports that you will find in the world.
What's the next trip you've got planned?
We are wrapping up our Briefs touring year with a two-and-a-half week season with Q Theatre Auckland and a short run at the Melbourne Arts Centre. The next trip will be home to the family in New Zealand for Christmas.
