What was your greatest holiday?
In 2014, to New York. My best mate Dave's sister is an air hostess (are they still called that? [Travel Editor: Nope.]) and was on our flight so she looked after us on the flight over. Dave's other sister hooked us up with corporate-box tickets at Madison Square Garden for Knicks v Clippers. Yea. Corporate box. Madison Square Garden. And Dave's mate is a Michelin-star chef who opened a restaurant called the Musket Room. We ordered a five-course degustation but Chef Matt just hooked. Us. Up. Moral of the story: Travel with Dave.
And the worst?
I was 20 and accepted an invitation from an old flame in Australia to her 21st in Newcastle. So I dragged Dave (this is probably where Dave and I became really good mates) and Phil from drama school to come. We ended up flying straight into a drunken, dysfunctional, feuding bogan family's hot mess of screaming matches and rude, horrid personalities. However, we'd just done Shakespeare at drama school, so the highlight of the trip was us devising the finger-puppet version of The Winter's Tale.
If we bump into you on holiday, what are you most likely to be doing?
