Best holiday ever?
When I was 8 years old we took a family holiday to the Spanish island of Majorca. It was a classic cheap holiday package and we stayed in a "hotel" that flouted just about every health and safety code in the book. But, it had a pool and free donkey rides, so nothing else mattered, really.
Where is your next holiday?
I travel so much that, when I have time off, I tend to stay at home, so I guess my next holiday is at my house in Edinburgh. It is ideal, really. I don't need to queue at check-in, internet is free, and my mini bar and laundry is far more reasonably priced.
Best anti-jetlag tip?
After literally years of research, I still haven't found this out. I know for sure that copious amounts of alcohol on the flight is definitely not the answer.
Favourite city to visit?
I would have to say London. As soon as I step off the train at Kings Cross station I feel giddy with excitement and possibility. I more or less studied comedy there. And, although I don't live there any more, I still feel like it is the place where I spent the most interesting times of my life. And I still seem to discover something new every time I visit.
