Museum celebrates return of the mummy

The Auckland Museum is celebrating the return of its mummy, which is on display these school holidays after conservation work. Until May 1, the museum will hold talks about the process of mummification and the animals of the Nile, and behind-the-scenes visits to the archaeology department. An Egyptian games day, workshops on Egyptian makeup and Egyptian T-shirt screen-printing will also be held. Details online.
