Movies under the stars in Hawke's Bay

OpenAir Cinema is a film festival at Black Barn Vineyards, Hawke's Bay, running nightly from January 24 to February 4.

Twelve international films will be screened including New Zealand flick In My Father's Den. Filmgoers can take a picnic and spread a rug on the wide, grassy terraces of the vineyard's amphitheatre.

No alcohol can be taken in, but snacks, wine, beer and soft drinks will be sold. Gates open at 7.30pm and the movies start at 8.45pm. Tickets for screenings $15 (adult).
