Melbourne Cup trackside

New Zealanders can get to the Melbourne Cup this year without having to fight for a good spot trackside.

New Zealand race horse owner Bruce Dell will escort punters straight to the Kentucky Enclosure , the Hill Stand, or the Carbine Marquee for the big event, with an option to take time out to visit one of Victoria's top stud farms and enjoy lunch at a local winery.

Three-night packages for the November event are priced from $1199, which includes accommodation, return airfares and a cocktail party at the Savoy Park Plaza in Melbourne.
