Lord of the Rings stars at Armageddon Pulp Culture Expo

The Armageddon Pulp Culture Expo takes over the Queen's Wharf Events Centre in Wellington next weekend.

Special guests from the Lord of the Rings include Andy Serkis (Gollum), John Rhys-Davies (Gimli the dwarf), Sean Astin (Sam) and Sala Baker (Sauron).

They join stars from 24, Star Trek DS9, Kill Bill and the voices of Yu-Gi-Oh, Dragonball Z and Duel Masters.

Special events include huge gaming areas, Yu-Gi-Oh tournaments, comics, live wrestling, movie screenings and more.

Hours 9am-6pm.

Adult day pass $14, child 12 and under $10.
Family (2 adults, 2 children) $40.
