Demonstrations by a security dog squad, firefighters and Royal New Zealand Air Force aircraft are just some of the attractions lined up for the Whenuapai Air Show this Saturday.
Air Force pilots will provide the in-the-skies entertainment with their aircraft and, on the ground, visitors can visit simulated Airforce camps, hangar displays and historic planes.
Gates open at 9am and the air display finishes at 4.30pm.
Admission costs $5 per person or $10 per carload.
Parking is available at the northern end of the base off Ponga Rd, at a cost of $10.
If it rains, the event will be held on Sunday.
