Organisers for two of London's most famous annual events are probably at their most frenzied now, as they prepare to impress and provide for thousands of visitors.
The showgrounds for the Chelsea Flower Show have been extensively redesigned, and include two new pavilions. The show is held from May 22 to 25. And from June 25 to July 8, the world's top tennis players will vie for titles at Wimbledon.
Flight Centre is offering special packages for both events. For the Chelsea Flower Show, $173 gets one person a night's accommodation with continental breakfast (on a twin-share basis) and an evening ticket for the flower show.
For the tennis, $691 buys a night's accommodation (twin-share), continental breakfast, a ticket to court two and admission to the luxurious championship club to collect your tickets. An official Wimbledon 2001 visitors' guide and a one-day London travel card and transfers are included.
