Leap for the sky

There are just four days to go before thrill-seekers line up to leap from Auckland's Sky Tower for a 192m plunge.

Sky Jump will be christened by New Zealand television, film and radio personalities such as Temuera Morrison, Oliver Driver, Robert Rakete, April Ieremia and Stacey Daniels, who will take their turn alongside keen members of the public wanting to experience the adrenalin rush on Sky Jump's opening day.

Inquiries are plentiful from those wanting an anything but cheap thrill. One jump, which lasts about 20 seconds, costs $195.
