Kapuatohe Historic Reserve

The Kapuatohe Historic Reserve Open Day on October 9 gives the public a chance to sample some of Canterbury's history.

On site you can visit the beautifully restored two-storey schoolhouse, which dates from 1877, a workman's cottage and museum. The reserve is in Belfast, Christchurch, and it will be open 1pm-4pm.

Entry is free.
