Do you travel light or heavy?
I travel as light as possible - basically black with lighter or colour highlight pieces to wear.
Cattle or first class?
If I'm going long-haul and working at the other end I go business class and have a sleep on the wonderful Air NZ flat beds. Otherwise, it's usually economy.
I can't travel without...
M.A.C. Fix, a bottle of handwash and my iPod with mini speakers.
What type of suitcase do you carry?
I've used Mandarina Duck and Burton luggage for years, including a small work trolley I take on the plane. While they may be a little more expensive at the outset, they're light and sturdy and I get years out of a suitcase that travels most weeks.
What's always in your hand luggage?
The usual moisturiser, toothbrush, hairbrush, and makeup. I usually feel cold on planes, so I always have my cosy Nom*D woollen wrap and a cardigan to put on, with a light change of clothes in case my bags don't arrive when I do - and, of course, computer and work stuff.
Are you a planner or last-minute packer?
I always plan what I'm going to take, make sure it's clean and ironed and lay it all out a few days beforehand to be sure I have shoes, etc to co-ordinate. Then when I come to pack I try to cut it down by at least half.
