Italian battlefield tour

A Second World War gunner, Aucklander Bert Bradford, will lead a three-week tour in September of the battlefields on which he served in Italy.

The tour leaves Auckland on September 5 and reaches Rome for a "free day" of sightseeing before the tour proper begins, with an expansive itinerary of Italy's regions.

Priced at $8500 a person, twin share, accommodation is in three and four-star hotels with private facilities.
