A walking tour through Italy's small towns and rural countryside hones in on art treasures.
The tour, organised by A Walker's World of Auckland, targets smaller Tuscan galleries.
The eight-day walk includes picnic lunches of local wines and foods, special evening meals, accommodation in 16th century frescoed palazzo, and concentrates on the works of 13th century artist Piero della Francesca.
There are tours next month, twice in October and in December. With a maximum of 16 people in each group, the fully-escorted tour is priced from about $NZ4290. This price does not include the return airfares to Italy.
