KEY POINTS:
Do you travel light or heavy?
I travel quite heavy, usually with a lot of gadgets and creams. I get bored when I travel so I need music and computer games. While I travel my skin takes the opportunity to dry out. That explains why I carry the creams. There is a cream for everything. I once put cream on a fractured wrist and it was sweet.
Cattle or first class?
Cattle, but not by choice. I once got upgraded on the way back from Dubai and it rocked. You can't go past champagne before the plane has even taken off!
I can't travel without ...
Music, games, a smile.
What type of suitcase do you carry?
A suitcase with wheels. I went to the UK for three weeks with a duffle bag. It ripped on the way home so I bought a case with wheels. I learnt the luxury too little too late unfortunately. Go wheels!
What's always in your hand luggage?
A cream of some sort, bit of money and a packet of nuts.
Are you a planner or last-minute packer?
A planner in theory and a last-minute packer in reality.
What's the best thing you've brought back from a trip?
A love for Japanese food.
Favourite or most exciting airport to land in?
Dubai, the one airport I like hanging out in.
I imagine I am a rich oil tycoon watching 9-year-olds race camels.
Best travel tip?
Customs are always right.
Most memorable trip?
Going to Japan when I was 16. My Dad was in The Phantom of the Opera and was touring around Japan for a month. I went over for a bit of the tour. It blew my mind being in such a different culture, especially with a posse of actors. It opened my eyes and taught me more than three weeks at school would have.
What do you do while on the plane?
Always have [my] iPod on. I catch up on bad Hollywood movies that I would not normally watch (they all seem to have Hugh Grant in them).
