The Gisborne Wine & Food Festival will be held on Sunday, October 25 (Labour Weekend). Four wineries will supply a selection of their own wines, food and entertainment, and a boutique venue will feature a collection of producers. Tickets at $60 include an all-day bus pass.

If you love fresh oysters, fish, scallops, mussels and whitebait snap up a ticket to the Tauranga Moana Seafood Festival on November 28. The Dive Crescent precinct will be transformed into a hive of feasting and entertainment.

The Marlborough Sounds Water & Wilderness Festival runs each weekend of September and October, and each weekend showcases aspects of the Sounds (above). Local resorts and adventure operators will offer packages and events.
