Two exhibitions at the Otago Museum will appeal to the adventurer within. Temple of Doom - Ritual Sacrifice in Ancient Peru unearths one of the world's great lost civilisations, the Moche. It explores human sacrifice, and the deities, riches and rituals of a time before the Incas. It runs until May 23.
Breath of Tibet - Shangri-La in Our Midst is an exhibition of contemporary Tibetan art featuring scroll painting, sculptural relief, photographs, performances, lectures and workshops. It runs until May 16. Both exhibitions offer presentations and community programmes.
