Want a good seat on the sightseeing bus? In Dunedin you can do even better, cruising the tourist sites in classic Jaguar and Daimler cars in journeys lasting between three and 7 1/2 hours.
The most popular tour is the full-day Otago Peninsula Experience taken by 500 tourists last summer. For $165 each and $100 for a child's fare, the tour includes all entry fees and guided tours at Larnach Castle, Penguin Place - the home of the yellow-eyed penguins - and a visit to see the breeding site of the Royal Albatross.
Shorter tours of three hours are $57 an adult and $40 for a child, and include entry fees and a personally guided tour of Larnach Castle.
