Surrounded by mature trees and extensive rose gardens, Broadgreen House in Nelson is a Victorian cob construction family home, built in 1855.
The house has been restored and furnished to show the lifestyle of the time, and care has been taken to preserve the atmosphere of a "lived-in" house.
Volunteer guides and optional CD commentaries explain the collection and history. Open from 10.30am to 4.30pm every day except Christmas Day and Good Friday. 276 Nayland Rd, Stoke.
