More than 50 historic homes, intimate inns, quaint cottages and small character hotels make up the stable of Heritage & Character Inns. Guests get to stay in luxury accommodation that can be more than 100 years old, and enjoy the little extras you won't find in big hotels, such as rooms furnished with antiques and decorated with fresh flowers.

Dotted throughout New Zealand, the accommodation can be found in the Heritage & Character Inns brochure or on its website. Rates range from moderate to medium, at $100 to $200 a night for two people sharing accommodation and including breakfast, to premium at more than $200 a night.
