The highest altitude spa pool in the country has just opened at Canterbury's Mt Hutt skifield. The six-seater Alpine Spas pool is located at the top of Summit Six chairlift - sitting at a breathtaking 2086m above sea level. On a clear day, you can take in views all the way along the Southern Alps and across the Canterbury Plains to the Pacific Ocean. The spa even includes Bluetooth surround sound and a powerful sub-woofer - we can't think of a better way to soak the muscles after a few runs.

At this family-owned and operated resort in the middle of British Columbia's Great Bear Rainforest, two cedar hot tubs sit alongside a spectacular cascading waterfall.
