The food at the Causeway Bay Brunch Club lives up to the promise in its name. The home-made bread and desserts from Marie's bakery? Blissful. Something a bit different but still comfortingly "brunchy" is the fish of the day with potato wedges, arugula salad, poached egg and hollandaise. A cosy
and familiar environment to relax in as you fuel your adventures. $35
Window shop for stuff you probably can't afford at Hong Kong's largest Japanese-style department store, Sogo, a major fixture on the local shopping circuit. Sogo carries a wide selection of fashion brands, skincare products and cosmetics, jewellery and leather goods. High street stores gravitate towards Sogo and the neighbourhood is also home to Times Square - Hong Kong's busiest pedestrian crossing.
For some actual shopping, hit Fashion Walk, a showcase of the latest trends in fashion, food, and lifestyle in a laid-back setting. Allow $30 for something small and special.
Recharge with a memorable lunch at Mammy Pancake. Don't miss the Michelin-recommended Hong Kong style egg waffle, you can find them at Leishun Court. Less than $40.
Got someone in your life who is out to get you? In Causeway Bay, the flyover known as Ngo Keng Kiu passes over a three-way junction, making it the ideal feng shui spot for dispelling evil. It is here that Hong Kong's "professional petty person beaters", badass ladies of advanced age, gather. Once she knows your "petty person" she'll light some incense, make cut-outs of a paper tiger and beat that jerk out of your life with her shoe. $10 is an absolute steal but you can haggle (you meanie).
