What have you been doing today?

Visiting the Rotorua Museum, Polynesian Spa and walking around the lakefront.

What do you think of Rotorua?

It's a very nice place and the Maori culture is very impressive, especially the Rotorua Museum - so beautiful. The thermal smell is not comfortable, but you get used to it.

What's the best local snack/eatery/bar in Rotorua you've found?

Lotus Cafe & Bakery. It's the first time I've been able to eat Vietnam bread since leaving Vietnam.

What are your plans this summer?

I will stay in Rotorua for two to three weeks and visit the Redwoods, go horse-riding and see the thermal scenery at Waiotapu, which has been recommended to me.

What is your favourite going-away spot?

So far I like Wellington.
