Swing, New Orleans, fusion and new experimental jazz are all part of the Wellington Jazz Festival running for a week from next Friday (October 12 to 28).
Scores of Wellington clubs, restaurants and pubs will be saturated with jazz.
The programme is large and varied, with performers including Michelle Nicolle from Australia, Danish Radio Jazz Orchestra, Corey Harris & Henry Butler, Tortise, and Vince Jones.
All shows start at 8 pm.
