New Zealanders who choose to stay at Fiji's award-winning Vatulele resort this year will pay less than half the usual price.
Named hotel of the year last year by the hotel chain Small Luxury Hotels of the World, and best resort in the South Pacific by Travel and Leisure magazine, Vatulele usually costs $2500 a night for accommodation, fine dining and alcohol, which includes as much French champagne as the guest desires.
Kiwi couples who book before June 30, and complete their stay by December 15, will pay $1100 a night.
